Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files that websites can store on your device. This page explains whether aerexai.com uses them, and what to expect when you visit.
What we use
The AEREX website does not set any cookies of its own. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, so there is nothing to accept or decline and you will not see a cookie banner.
To understand how the site is used, we use Plausible Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without collecting personal information or following you to other websites. Because it stores nothing on your device, it does not need your consent under UK cookie law.
Third-party files
To keep the site fast and looking right, your browser loads some files from other providers. They do not ask you to accept cookies, but they do receive your IP address and basic browser details, as any web server does when it sends you a file:
- Fontshare: the fonts used throughout the site
- unpkg and cdnjs: code libraries that power the animations and icons
- Simple Icons: the tool logos shown on the home page
- Plausible: the cookieless visit counter described above
Our hosting provider, Netlify, also records standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability.
The planner chat
If you click "Send this to AEREX" in the planner chat on our home page, your browser briefly stores a summary of the idea in its session storage so it can fill in the contact form for you. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to anyone unless you submit the form, and it is cleared once the form has been filled in or when you close the tab.
The contact form
If you send us a message through the contact form, the information you enter is passed to us by our form provider, Formspree. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we use it.
If this changes
If we ever add tools that use cookies, we will ask for your consent before they run and update this page first.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can view, block or delete cookies for any website in your browser settings. Instructions for the common browsers are on aboutcookies.org.
